Major Winner at Clubs and Community Awards Night

On Thursday June 6th,  the Wyong Leagues Group were announced as a major winner in the 2024 Clubs NSW Clubs & Community Awards. These annual awards recognise outstanding contributions made by Clubs within their communities.

We took out the prestigious “Fostering Grassroots Sport” category, from a field of 17 other finalists with our submission, “Keeping the Waves Rolling”. This detailed our rescue of the Central Coast Waves Basketball from extinction last year and the positive impact that it has had in maintaining a sports outlet for hundreds of kids and families across the Central Coast.
